INNOVATION MEETS SUSTAINABILITY

Aptiv Sustainability Awards recognize exceptional commitment to communities and environmental responsibility. Over two decades ago, we began honoring outstanding efforts toward sustainability, igniting a powerful movement of positive change. Countless teams have stepped up, dedicating themselves to building a sustainable future for all. What was once considered niche has become mainstream, shaping our global operations.

During this program, teams worldwide are invited to submit projects in three categories:

• Green: Projects for environmental footprint reduction;
• Safe: Projects ensuring road safety, employee health, and safety; and
• Connected: Projects highlighting our products, technologies, and community engagement.

This year, we're also introducing the Sustainability Accelerator Award, a new category spotlights individuals or teams whose innovative solutions accelerate Aptiv's sustainability mission. 

Nominations for the Aptiv Sustainability Awards kick off on Earth Day, April 22nd, and close on World Environmental Day, June 5th. To submit nominations, teams can utilize the Sustainability Tracker platform to detail their projects that are aligned with the categories. Winners will be recognized in multiple categories: silver, gold, and platinum.

This year, we're also introducing the Sustainability Accelerator Award. This winner will be selected from the platinum pool and announced live at the Aptiv Innovation Awards on September 26, 2024. This category spotlights individuals or teams whose innovative solutions accelerate Aptiv's sustainability mission. It celebrates those who drive change through creative problem-solving and collaboration.
